When a patient has been diagnosed with cancer – Eden Oncology will submit the supporting histology report with the specified ICD10 code to the relevant medical aid so that registration and activation of the Oncology benefits can be processed. 

Eden Oncology will ensure that tariffs are billed according to the patient’s treatment plan and guidelines of his/her medical aid. This entails all consultations, professional fees regarding radiotherapy and facility fees concerning chemotherapy.

Eden Oncology ‘s Accounts are being administered by Medeserve Altron – they are liaising with all medical aids and patients regarding payments, electronic submissions and normal debtors functions.
