Eden Oncology is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Counsellor to provide psychosocial support to cancer patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide counselling and emotional support to oncology patients and their families.
• Assist patients with coping strategies, adjustment to illness, and access to support services.
• Facilitate support groups and patient education initiatives.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions.

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work.
• Registration with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
• Experience in counselling, healthcare, oncology, palliative care, or chronic disease management will be advantageous.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Compassion, resilience, and a genuine passion for patient-centred care.
